Gillette Venus Razors — Shopper Marketing

GLOBAL REBRAND

From 2016 to 2018, we helped razor brand Gillette Venus transform their brand and evolve their mission statement to reflect the dynamic and powerful impact females have in society. We worked tirelessly to shift the client’s thinking and change the archaic brand to send a modern, empowering femininity message that would resonate with women today. We helped the brand define the new “Venus woman” and the new “Venus world”. We also brought positive, new changes to the Venus brand such as: diversifying the cast of women in photoshoots, casting actresses instead of models (this came from the desire to bring authenticity and spunky personality to the brand), hiring female photographers, directors, and editors to create a “female gaze” for the brand, and doing minimal retouching on the photography.

IN-STORE TAKEOVER

To demonstrate how the new visual identity could come to life in store, we imagined and mocked up an in-store takeover. This included branded security shrouds, floor stand displays, and aisle takeovers.The overall goal of the takeover was to create an awareness for the new Venus world and the new Venus woman, all while captivating our consumer and putting razors at the top of her mind.

BRANDED COLLATERAL

Designed a direct to consumer mailer for a mom that acknowledges that her daughter’s first-time shave is approaching and offers information about it to help drive conversion.

ECOMMERCE

Designed, art directed and led a Venus E-commerce photoshoot for Venus' brand new products in 2018: the face perfection device and the bikini trimmer.
