GLOBAL REBRAND
From 2016 to 2018, we helped razor brand Gillette Venus transform their brand and evolve their mission statement to reflect the dynamic and powerful impact females have in society. We worked tirelessly to shift the client’s thinking and change the archaic brand to send a modern, empowering femininity message that would resonate with women today. We helped the brand define the new “Venus woman” and the new “Venus world”. We also brought positive, new changes to the Venus brand such as: diversifying the cast of women in photoshoots, casting actresses instead of models (this came from the desire to bring authenticity and spunky personality to the brand), hiring female photographers, directors, and editors to create a “female gaze” for the brand, and doing minimal retouching on the photography.
